About Us – Deluxe Plumbing & Gas

Matthew has been in the trade for over 14 years and serves as the director of Deluxe Plumbing & Gas. He is passionate about interacting with people and delivering professional service from start to finish. In his free time, Matthew enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, off-roading, camping, and mountain biking.

Geoff has been a part of the Deluxe Plumbing & Gas team for over 2 years and has been in the trade for close to a decade. In his time off, he enjoys the outdoors, hunting and fishing and is never shy of a fence post yarn.

Talbot joined the Deluxe Plumbing & Gas team in 2024 and brings with him 9 years of plumbing experience. Talbot enjoys the variety of work in the industry, problem solving and learning along the way. Outside of work, Talbot enjoys swinging a club around the golf course and spends a lot of his time up in Mangawhai.

Michael joined Deluxe Plumbing & Gas midway through 2025, bringing with him 12 years of plumbing and gasfitting experience. He chose Deluxe as the next step in his career, drawn to our supportive, family-like environment where everyone matters. Michael enjoys the variety and challenges of the job, especially the chance to work closely with others while continuously developing his skills. Outside of work, he stays active, spends time with friends, and makes the most of the great outdoors.

Mykola joined Deluxe Plumbing & Gas in January 2025, making the move to New Zealand all the way from Canada. He brings with him over 20 years of experience as a plumber, gasfitter, and roofer.

He was drawn to Deluxe for our strong customer values and dedication to delivering top-quality workmanship. Outside of work, Mykola is a passionate nature lover, classic car enthusiast, and avid traveler. He has a deep appreciation for music and enjoys engaging in thoughtful conversations about philosophy and psychology.

Alex has been with the Deluxe Plumbing & Gas team for over three years and is our go-to plumbing maintenance expert. His dedication and reliability are invaluable to our operations. Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing games, training in Muay Thai, and spending time with his friends.

Jack joined Deluxe Plumbing & Gas midway through 2024 and is currently completing his apprenticeship with us. He has quickly proven himself to be a valued addition to our team, and we are excited to have him on board. Outside of work, Jack dedicates a significant amount of time as an active member of the NZDF. He loves spending time outdoors, is an avid surfer, and enjoys fishing on the weekends.

Sarah has been part of Deluxe Plumbing & Gas for over four years with more than 10 years of administration experience in different fields. She works closely with Matthew and Rachel to develop processes, manage H&S and ensure everything is running smoothly. Outside of work, she is a mum of 2 busy preschoolers and enjoys spending time outdoors and with family.

Rachel has been a valued member of Deluxe Plumbing & Gas for just over a year, handling all aspects of customer service. She is our friendly voice behind the phone. Outside of work, she enjoys camping in her caravan, walking, running, exploring the outdoors, and catching up with her friends.
